About Us

Thank you for your interest in our site. This site was developed because there was a need for a better way to manage streaming media links and the way user aquires them. The problem is the same with all sites of this nature: dead links. What makes this site different is that the user has much more control in the management of the stations. With the user's help and an automated link checking system, this site will have the newest, most up-to-date list at any given moment!

We also provide the actual link to the streaming station. Other sites have stayed away from giving the user this information directly. Instead, they have resorted to playing the station from within their website. While this does work for some, it does not work for all. This site is open to all. We don't want to leave you Mac, Linux, and Unix users out in the cold.

Lastly, we are providing the capability to download the station links that you want directly into your favorite media players via a standard playlist (.pls) file. Going further, we have provided the capability to download specially formatted playlists for the UBU Stream plugin for the GBPvr pvr software as well as the Myradio plugin for the Media Portal pvr software. Both of these PVR programs are free! We look forward to working with any other PVR developers to help incorporate our station data with any new plugins.

The goal of this site is to be the biggest and best collection of live streaming content available on the internet. More users means more stations. More users means a better maintained list with few (if any) nonfunctional stations. Tell your friends, it will make things better for you and for everyone!

Finally, you'll notice that this site is not full of ads and popups. This site was not created to make money. It was created to help users find streaming content on the internet. At the moment, the hosting cost is reasonably priced. I have placed a Paypal donate button on the main menu. If you would like to donate a few dollars to help offset this cost then we would be very grateful. All monies collected go toward the hosting costs. We hope to never have ads on the site if the financial burden of operating the site remains low. If you can not afford to donate any money, please consider adding a few stations, rating/editing a station or two, and by all means, report any stations that you find that are nonfunctional.
