Behind the Scenes
Thursday September 07
Work continues on the site behind the scenes. We have written the core portion of the automatic link checker and expect it to be in full service within a few days. This program checks all currently displayed stations to make sure that they are still working. If they are not, they are flagged as nonfunctional. The program also reviews nonfunctional stations to see if they are working again. If they are, then they are made visible again. With this program and your help in manually reporting stations as nonfunctional, our list of stations will be the most up-to-date list of functional stations on the Internet!
We have also been busy working on the administrative side of the website. We will be looking for a few more admins in the near future. We plan to offer the top users who have been contributing station edits, new stations, and reporting stations as nonfunctional. If you are interested in becoming an admin then please spend a little time doing some/all of the above. Thanks to everyone who has contributed!
Bug Hunt
Sunday September 03
Thank you to all who have posted bug reports. We have fixed:
- Fixed the nasty bug that caused some stations to appear twice in the station display if that station was in your personalized playlist.
- Improved the page rendering when filtering results using the 'Display' function at the top of each station display page.
- Removed the extra new lines at the beginning of the GBPvr XML files.

Open Beta
Friday September 01
We are pleased to announce that WorldwideMediaProject.com has opened it's doors for the open beta phase. You'll notice that the website is still rough around the edges but we are making improvements and adding new features even as you read this. Keep your eyes open for the exciting new changes. In the meantime, please register for an account and add any stations that you may have.
